It seems like not that long ago, most winter locations would barely even bother to try to sell a house in the winter, let a lone use photos taken during the winter for it.

This place looks great in the snow. I’m sure it looks as nice, or even better in the the rest of the year too, especially the Fall!

The old b/w photo with the tress with no leaves and bare ground is a bit less charming though, lol. It is nice historical reference and perspective though of course. I like that old fence, nice design.

That’s a beautiful home with some fine Federal details! Seems perfect for modern living too, formal but cozy. A little rearrangement in the large kitchen space and I’d be happy.

Floor plan in the HABS link at the LOC – not recent but close.

Beautiful piece of my beloved home state, right down the street from one of my alma maters.

The old photo shows the proper entrance. It looks much better than what’s there now.

I can’t understand the inappropriate porch and trim color when the archival photo suggests otherwise. I’d try to restore that beautiful fence, also.

A great historical home. The federalist stairs and the Munford fireplace. That alone makes this a gem.
