I almost skipped this one as I tend to favor red brick Italianates but I’m so glad I took a look! That stained glass (Is it an addition to the original window frame? Will it be staying with the house?),those converted gas lights, a claw foot tub, the spectacular kitchen, and the ideal library/bedroom of my dreams… I’m smitten! Just tell me Dorothy and Toto live down the street I’m ready to move to Kansas!

That stained glass in the bedroom is just placed over the windows. Wonder if it was originally in the house or just someone decorating.
The one in the front parlor looks to be original.

I love this house; my favorite things are the stained glass and the papered ceilings.

That kitchen!!!! Do you think they opened it up into the pantry and that’s the original pantry cupboards? This house is stunning … that bedroom with all the stained glass, who would want to get out of bed in the morning! Fireplaces are beautiful, bathroom is nice. What a sweet house!

I don’t think those cupboards are original. I suspect they are old “school Cabinets” that were salvaged. This sort of thing is really popular in my area, as they are demolishing all the beautiful old school buildings and selling off the furnishings. Cheap. But I love them anyway!

I agree. They are antique, that’s for sure, but they’re pretty hefty for a house this size. Again, who knows unless they’re there to investigate the wall and floors. But look at them I’d say they’re salvage.

Spring Hill is an exurb of Kansas City. If I didn’t have kids that would have to change school districts, I would buy this house.

This is such a beautiful home with that wonderful kitchen and all that nice woodwork and those floors. Does anyone know what the pivoting arm hardware on the parlor windows is for? You can see them up close in the 3D view and I haven’t seen anything like them before.

Large rooms. I would repaint in some of the rooms. Love the kitchen stove. This one is a keeper.
