I’m not sure about the 1900 date, possible older or maybe it’s just close enough.

This house is adorable! It’s too bad I already emptied my bank account to buy a house this year!

This house would be so much fun to work on. It is a classic house that needs some love! ?

A little green paint on the trim and I could imagine “Anne with an E” walking out the front door. Love this!

Potential subdivision? Now THAT doesn’t sound good! With a busybody homeowner’s association most likely!

It looks like this lot is down at the end of Bear Cove, and spans the space where the road loops. The house is on the Eastern side, but with three acres, subdividing a lot with access to the Western side of the road isn’t unreasonable.

Ah, the old clothesline in the upper room or attic trick that the old time Northerners used when it was too cold out to line dry the washing. Found evidence of one in our first house and it brought back memories. This is a cutie waiting for the right person to love it again.

I’m flashing back to my Gram’s.. she is from NS and I see so much of what she brought with her to the US in this house. She set it up similar. Love it!

Looks to me like a Folk Victorian Farmhouse circa 1850’s. I love it. So much potential.

Oh my goodness!!! Charming cottage! I wonder what kind of hoops you would have to jump through to buy a house in Canada being a US citizen. I am in love ?

How cute is this little house?! So cute, and so much potential. I wonder if the space with the pale green paint and the odd little windows and door was the old post office? This would be a fun project. So charming!

Ok, there should really be a rule that a floor plan be included with the pictures, hahaha! I’m so confused! So you go up the stairs with the rose wallpaper into a pink hallway. You can make a sharp right to the bedrooms or go through the hobbit hall to the hobbit door and into an attic space where there are stairs that go down to?? The garage maybe?

I’m just totally over the moon when it comes to anything even remotely Gothic Revival! Can’t you just see some decorative verge board? And, I think a fair amount of good old elbow grease would do wonders for this place!

Adorable little cottage, how fun it would be to restore. Even the kitchen is kinda cute. First thing I’d do though is switch the the fridge door to a right hand swing! lol.
