Awfully fuzzy pictures but I can still tell enough to know that I want it! I like what’s been done with the kitchen.

Me too — I grew up outside Rochester; while you had more snow, we still wouldn’t count this as more than a dusting!

Much to love in this house. The corner cupboard looks as though the wall between kitchen & dining room was removed; I’d put it back toot sweet. The floors in this house are yummy.

A grill from a rather newish Dodge Ram – you just don’t see that everyday in a bedroom. On another note: you’ve showcased several “as is” or under $100k homes that need work. The topic of the unavailability for loans has surfaced. BUT if you think about it, most good sized nice homes would take at least that much for a traditional loan downpayment. If someone has a downpayment, they could surely pay cash for any one of these beauties. If a potential buyer doesn’t have enough ready cash for a downpayment, then it would be very difficult to have enough money for any type of renovation even if they did all the work themselves; materials alone are expensive. I realize many of us on here are old house dreamers who comment but thought I’d state a little reality starting the new year.

Lovely home…..the fireplace was simply amazing! I hope the future buyers will appreciate and take the best care of the home

Fascinating later glazed Queen Anne storm door enclosure. The kind of alteration I would argue in favor of retaining even in an otherwise purist restoration approach. Frustratingly for any future owner, the masonry Dining Room mantle, and at least part of the grate, appear to have been painted over. The later tiles placed on the floor in front of it seem to be removing themselves.
