    Those ceilings!
I could sit on that upper porch and watch life go by for hours on end. Nice small town in the middle of farmland.
I’d take some of that extra space in the kitchen and put in some more counter space somehow. The wood stove is a super bonus!

    Loving the Canadian posts!

could you please return to featuring homes from europe… the canadian homes seem just to be duplicates of u.s. homes. the european homes added a whole new level of architectural interest. thanks

I wish we had these out west! (I sound like a broken record.) While these were going up in the east, we were still building log cabins – my grandparents built one in the 1930s. Love the kitchen.

Gorgeous home! Love the double porch! The round part of it looks like it’s standing on thin stilts like a wading bird and almost looks like if you bump into the posts it would collapse. Not saying they don’t look sturdy, but that’s an impression i get from this portion up in the air!

just a few corrections for the ENG translation of the listing:

Magnificent residence (home), built in 1900, historic stamp, meticulous maintenance, original woodwork, 9-foot ceilings with ornamental details, clawfoot tub, L’islet wood stove. Large kitchen with dining room as well as a double living room with a lot of cachet (character). 4 bedrooms including 3 upstairs, garage with storage, to be seen!!
