What a lovely home in Salisbury's historic district, The Oaks. Freshly painted inside and out with beautiful gleaming original hardwood floors, raised moldings, crown moldings, an abundance of brick floors laid in the Herringbone style. There are two woodburning fireplaces, an elevator from first to second floor, enclosed porches in the rear and front of the home and a carport the seller will remove if buyer wishes. In the lower level the family room has stunning brick floors, a number of beautiful bookcases that convey, built in bar and beamed ceilings. The spacious utility area has a built in work bench and room for storage. The third floor could be converted into a charming fourth bedroom. The all brick home has a slate roof and a lovely wooded view down long length of the front yard. Here is a home you will be proud to call your own and to show off to your friends. Easy to show, being sold in an as is condition

Great home at a great price. The exterior woodwork around the front door is amazing. The only thing i’d change: I’d roll back that enclosed front porch and remove those sliding glass doors (a pet peeve of mine).

Houses from the 1920s and 1930s are just so graceful, aren’t they? Want.

This one has it all but I would buy it for the basement alone.
    And what a great price.

Clean as a whistle and lovely to boot. I could so make myself at home with a studio in that upper floor. I agree with Wendy Sparrow, that kitchen sink is perfect. SO glad everything hasn’t been updated within an inch of its life. I wish we could’ve seen the other bathrooms, ’cause the one shown is outstanding. And the house sure looks larger than 2400 sq ft.

Another classic beauty. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have the “open concept” floor plan, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, “dedicated” media room and dual bathroom vanities that today’s esthetically-clueless young people demand.
Needless to say, I watch HGTV with morbid curiosity and am appalled.

Okay, the laundry room next to a bar is an idea that would really work for me! Put a big screen down there and my friend Jim Beam would help me to get the laundry done! Or not…….

That lovely bathroom makes me want to bake a homemade lemon cake with buttercream frosting.

    What a perfectly beautiful home.
