I love this home! I would remove that added closet at the top of the stairway in the hall though to open it all up. What a beauty!

If that closet is across from a bathroom, I’d keep it for a linen closet for towels and such. If not, yeah, I’d get rid of it, too.

Sometimes all there to say is wow! Such potential with not that much work to do.

Not crazy about the kitchen layout. And I don’t know what’s oozing out of that radiator. But everything else looks nice. A lot of stained glass and woodwork. There’s a lot of overgrowth too close to the house, hiding its charm.

The inside is much better than I expected based on the boarded up windows. So many beautiful features to with.

When I saw those boarded up windows, I didn’t have much hope of such a great looking house inside! So, a bit of work is needed, maybe more, depending on how bad that leaky radiator is, and if the floor/ceiling of that room is badly damaged by it. I wonder if there is a way to make the kitchen bigger, or at least of a more efficient shape. There’s a piece of woodwork missing above a window, but thats easy enough to replace-a local with a CNC could replicate that easily enough. That closet in the upstairs hall-I like that, just for a nice sized linen closet for bathroom towels and stuff. The rooms look nice and big, and once those windows are uncovered, I bet there’s a lot of great, natural light coming in. The 2nd year i’m in this house (yup, ladies and gents, this one is MINE), I’d do the landscaping over, lots of nice bright flowers to contrast with the stone of the house, which also looks to be in nice condition. Only thing I’d do outside right away, is get those trees out and away from the foundation.
I wonder why they boarded this house up, and didn’t put it on the market right then and there? I’m sure it would have sold.

It was hard to see the house through the trees. It does have a bit of work but it has such great details, inside and out, it would be worth the effort in my opinion.

“Home requires new heating system and possibly plumbing” first clue was the oozing radiator!
