Picturesque village of Danville, here is one of the most beautiful houses for sale, style "second empire", large rooms and lots of windows, possibility to make a bi-generation or with an apartment, renovation with respect and taste, large landscaped (2,192 m2) with mature trees, large gallery. A lot of cachet.

I love that front door-and the way its repeated inside! The staircase is so graceful. I wish I had taken French in school.

I am envious of folks who can choose and use colors and their complementary colors well. I love color, but when I try to make a palette, it always ends up looking like a bad acid trip (not that I would know about “tripping,” I just like the euphemism 😆). At any rate, this place is like a fairytale and I would live there in a heartbeat!

If I were rich this would be my vacation home. Love every thing about this place,

Impressive home with a wonderful facade. I like the French influence. Lots of great details throughout, especially the staircase. I wonder if the transoms leading into the formal rooms off the main hall were added later. I have to think they were an addition because for me they are a distraction from the otherwise fine details.

Soooo beautiful !! That winding staircase (with a newel post that shows more 186-70 than 1882 ?!) and the 2 cut doors below! The entrance door and the sidelights are gorgeous too.

Wow, Wow and Wow again, love this home & I do mean home in every sense of the word. Love the double curved entrance doors & the graceful winding staircase. Also the bedrooms, though small, look so warm and inviting (restful); oh yes, and the wood burning stove, can almost hear the fire crackling. Can just picture this home at Christmas time with a fresh blanket of sparkling snow.
