Designed by architect Kenneth S. Heidrich, this awesome family homestead is on the market for the first time. Its contemporary style continues to impress with its spacious rooms, multiple built-ins, and 50's charm. Light cascades into rooms that have terrific views. Gorgeous landscaping surrounds this unique 5,480 square foot home. The kitchen looks onto a 26 ft by 22 ft screened-in porch and an even larger brick patio. A 14 ft by 14 ft courtyard adds another dimension of nature within the structure. Newer generator for peace of mind. You must visit this home to appreciate all it has to offer!

I actually love these type of Contemporary homes, the windows over looking a view or the woods…just relaxing as heck. I’ll usually post when they aren’t painted too much, the more wood the better but this isn’t too bad. I’m disappointed there are no photos of the bathrooms, that’s one of the fun parts of these era homes!

I love the curious little courtyard in photos 7, 22, and 23. You can see it from inside, like a museum diorama.

I’m glad this one got posted. This seems like such a great deal for a home style that is currently very hot. That original, mid-century stainless steel 6-burner range looks as good as did the day it was installed. I’d remove the scrubby bushes in that inner courtyard and plant a cool specimen tree (e.g. Japanese maple) and uplight it. Cool.

Wow! I LOVE this one. It is so bright and I can easily see myself living here with just a few landscaping changes and quite a bit of paint (I”m not a pink/blue person)

Love the blue bedroom shutters that are papered to match the accent wall.

Holy rectilinear, Batman! Not a curve in the place. After the earlier floating staircase house, this is quite a shift. Not my style, but wow, interesting.

😍😍😍 It’s maybe a contradiction, but mid century and Tudor homes are always my favorite posts!

Stop the presses – get Architectural Digest out there for a photo shoot! While I am a tried and true fan of craftsman/ Stickley homes – this home is absolutely incredible. I am struck by how authentic it looks – almost like a movie set. I hope someone buys it who appreciates the significance of this mid century modern gem.

This is a delightful home. I especially love the skylight in the kitchen and the ‘flying saucer’ light above the dining area. The stove has been well cared for. The home looks very peaceful nestled in the trees.
