Very pretty house – it says 3000 sf but it looks much bigger than that….some of the rooms are huge! I like it. A lot.

Very nice,so warm & inviting. This house just screams welcome home. Could just picture myself sitting in rocker in front of fireplace in the winter🙄👍

Beautiful home. Great shape. I wouldn’t change a thing…not even the vintage wallpaper.

    1875 Limestone house
    Loire Valley, France,

Gracious Italianate staircase, as often! Beautiful house, looks very roomy.

I wonder about the 3 entrance doors… I think there was already one like this on OHD, i don’t know, this rings a bell… Or was it the same house previously posted? Any explanation about this peculiar feature?

The bathroom doesn’t even try to be vintage, not even on the most basic level, but the rest of the house has terrific spaces with some nice details. I love design of the double doors with the half round transom on the second floor, and the stairway. The big room on the third floor is something else, wow!

No chimneys, no fireplaces, no radiators. How was this house originally heated? Too old for even gravity hot air furnaces. Surely there were wood burning fireplaces in a house this old?
