Quiet country living. This large farmhouse offers 1992 sq ft of living space. The first floor has been remodeled, and features some lovely updates. Large floor to ceiling windows allow the sunlight to gleam on the newer flooring. The good sized kitchen opens into both the living room and dining room, and is perfect for family gatherings. A nice library/office on the first floor could be perfect for those who work from home. The second floor has spacious bedrooms, and with some updating they will round out a charming home. An enclosed porch on the back of the house is a great space for a mudroom, and storage. The front is graced by a large porch, and at .70 acres, there is enough room to move around, yet not overwhelming to maintain. Priced to sell. Proof of funds required to submit an offer.

It doesn’t mention it in the description but the property outline shows the barn/carriage house out back is included although I’d check with agent to be for sure.

It could be a charmer, especially at that price. And the taxes are not as high as I expected for NY state. I am not quite sure I would agree that the kitchen “is perfect for family gatherings”. Perhaps if you don’t need to use the collapsing kitchen sink.

What a great buy for a young family, or a retired couple. My one worry at that price is how is the water supply. With all the problems in New Jersy, and Michigan water, I would want to get water supply tested, or certified.

I think the “first floor has been remodeled” is just a wee bit over enthusiastic, based on the photos…but to be fair, I didn’t see it before, so… 🙂
