Check out the street view, linked up top under the address. It’s so wooded and quiet, driving along in the Google Van then WHAM! Perfection with a picket fence.

With a little tweaking this could be a dream home. Beautiful setting and a ton of character to work with.

The pictures are all dated 2015, was this house on OHDs before?
This particular home, with its beautiful grounds and neighborhood, and interiors so honest and beautiful, has really got my attention.
I am curious about the barn. Were all the doors to the left for horse stalls? The barn style is not very familiar to me.
I love all the unpainted wooden walls in old southern homes, and have been wondering what the reason is. Does it have to do with the humidity? I have admired the unpainted wood in the public rooms in homes. It got me diving into the history of specifically cypress, but I am not sure if cypress would be the standard. Would love to hear your thoughts on unpainted wooden walls in southern homes.

I’m guessing it may be just an unset date on the camera used.

On realtor.com it says this listing is 1166 days on the market so maybe the photos ARE 2015…🤔 can’t imagine why this place hasn’t sold! As Steven mentioned, the Marketing is certainly less than ideal but geeeez!

This house deserves a better description than the one that is featured in this listing. Based on the description, I expected the main house to be little more than a barn with a portico nailed to the front elevation. I was pleasantly surprised by the graceful staircase and bay windows and other details.

Wow!! I love this place and is exactly what I had pictured in my mind as being the perfect country home for me. I bet this has loads of history everywhere! I looked at the front on the street view upclose to the front gate and see (I believe) a hitching post with a horse ring left and right, bet it’s original. I just love this place and looks as though it would be so peaceful. I guess at the end of the photos the two story house with tin roof is the guest house? Would love more photos and some history on this one-I’m in love!
