7552 County Route 27, Lisbon is a stately brick home built in the 1860's and has been occupied by the Nelson family since 1947 and was a working farm until 2005. This sprawling 5 bedroom house also includes an eat-in kitchen, large living room, den, walk-in pantry, foyer, an old summer kitchen, woodshed, with indoor and outdoor access, an enclosed porch, even an old outhouse. In addition there is a two room apartment that has been vacant for many years and needs renovation that has a separate entrance with a covered porch. The property was subdivided with the farmland and barn sold separately and currently is situated on 1.4 acres. There are three outbuildings, a hen house, a detached garage, a shop, all older buildings, and also a pump house. There are 3 wells on the property, two older dug wells and the one in use is a 110' drilled well located in back of the house. The septic is located in the front by the porch. There are also 3 furnaces. One for the apartment, one for the main house ( new in 2013), and a Miller floor furnace in the kitchen. You will also find a front and rear staircase. The house needs repair to a portion of the house and other rooms have been renovated with new sheetrock and flooring.
