Such a deal. Someone cleaned it up nice

    • The house was a deal.. but was advertised as ready to move in.. I knew on the front end that it wasn’t really ready to move in. So many hidden fixes.. leaking roof sections no flashing, horrible condition siding. It ended up being a guy job.. the end result will be fantastic.. it’s just taking a lot of time (and money) to make this home what it should be. We are working on it and I will post an update in the future with photos of where we are at and maybe a new floor plan (if I ever draw one out) 😂

Looks like a lot of house for the money and move in ready!

    • Unfortunately it wasn’t move in ready.. I knew that on first inspection.. all plumbing has to be replaced, along with electrical, windows, siding, and of course the roof.

I’m glad the owners did’nt paint the build ins. It’s a great house.

    • It had a lot of foundation issues from the plaster with Sheetrock over it.. unfortunately I had to gut it down to bare studs.. the back portion of the house that was added onto in 1960’s had to be removed. Between the leaks and poor craftsmanship we had no other choice. We ended up digging a basement under the portion we removed and went back 18’. It allows us to make the home more functional upstairs with 2 bathrooms.

I love both fireplace surrounds. I’d want to re-think the stone, however on the second one. Such a charming house!

  7. Btw Hi!! My wife and I are the owners of this soon to be wonderful home.. we are working hard trying to keep the original aspect of the home with a modern twist. The upstairs is keeping a layout close the original with an addition put in at the hip roof section in the rear. It will feature the laundry room with a sunroom and full bath. This section will go out where one of upstairs closets was. Then off the upstairs master it will have a master bath with large walk in closet. The downstairs remains close to the same layout with a few changes.. I hope to update you all in the future with some photos and drawings of the plans.
