Wow. Thank you for sharing. It was worth seeing and dreaming about. I can imagine someone looking out that window over the fields more than 75 years ago. I can also envision the kids running up and down the duel staircase. Would love to have seen those staircases. Thanks again.

What a treasure! Looks to be intact and with a little basic sprucing up, it should be a wonderful home.

It looks like it could be an incredible time capsule!

This area is very nice. I used to live in the area. It’s 45 minutes from Madison, 1/2 to Janesville and Monroe. Green County also has low taxes and restrictions. Spruced up comparable properties go for at least 300k.

All great houses today. I tend to like the farmhouses and smaller homes but enjoy looking at them all. This one found a buyer quickly. Seems like a good price for five secluded acres. Wisconsin has my heart.

I think that “duel” (dual) staircase may mean that there are 2 staircases, main and servants.

Ok, so it was purchased and directly put back on the market at a higher price. Nothing really done to it, maybe clearing weeds around the house?
