XIXth century castle in the center of Jonzac, completely renovated and divided into 6 independent apartments. Two independent pavilions complete the whole completely fenced garden of 5026 m ². The property also lends itself very well to the realization of a guest house, charming cottage or rental housing thanks to its divisions and outbuildings with bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchenette.

I love that almost Art Deco looking brick mantel in the 4th picture.

I love this! Some work will need to be done, but much less than one would think unless there is more structural damage than what is visible.

This is the one. My ancestors moved from this area in the mid-1600s. How I’d love to reclaim this wonderful property. Again, wish I were younger. Darn!

    Meet you there. I’m in.

A friend bought a house in this region, she said the French believe in saving until they can pay in full

Between Cognac and Bordeaux how perfect is that?

Grand looking “castle” with a grand entrance staircase. But inside staircase disappoints a bit. You would think it would be grander. The entry hall makes me think of Hogwarts. What would you do with this building? With 13 bedrooms, I guess you’d keep it as rental apartments?
