One of DeKalb's interesting early homes, built in 1888 by Manley D. Barber. The current owner purchased the property in 1964 from DeWitt Osgood, a well-known and highly respected DeKalb Realtor who lived there with his family. The house features a unique bay window across the NE corner of the living room and has a Moe Bridges art deco chandelier circa 1920s in the dining room. An inviting L-shaped sunroom with hardwood floors wraps around the front and side of the house and is shaded by mature trees. A parlor, kitchen, bath with shower, and laundry complete the first floor. Upstairs features three bedrooms, a bathroom with tub, and excellent closet space. The oversized garage off the alley has room for a large vehicle with lots of extra space. New shingles were installed by Theisen Roofing in 2014.
