Beautiful historic home that has been rewired, re-plumbed, central heat and air, and a new roof added in 2012. Crushed slate was added all the way through the porte-cochere for the ease of parking. Several seating porches with 2 additional screened in porches. Home was painted on its interior and exterior. The gardens offer several outdoor storage buildings plus a green house. There is a drip system and some fencing in place. 12 foot ceilings, original hardwood floors, 2 claw foot tubs and so much more!

This house has a real presence to it. The columns give it quite an air of sophistication. It’s decorated tastefully – nice color palette. It looks to be a very comfortable place in which to live. I also love where it’s located…the less winter, the better.

The photographer maybe should have waited for the cigarette/vape smoke to clear before shooting . . . just sayin’ (picture 7)

Obviously remodeled in the early 20th century with Colonial Revival influences, this fine house is listed as part of the Cheraw Historic District…

Green-Prince House 223 Greene Street, (ca. 1824), originally frame
upcountry farmhouse, extensive remodeling. Large one-story veranda with
an elliptical second floor balcony added ca. 1900. Interior has basic
central stairhall with rooms to either side.
