Own a piece of history that has both charm and architectural perfection. In 1967 the new owners moved a Federal-Greek Revival historic home built in 1830 and conjoined it with a Williamsburg style home in Warsaw. The following information was taken from a book the NC Dept of History compiled, entitled THE HISTORIC ARCHITECTURE OF WARSAW. ''A simple Federal I house with a one-story shed extension across the back, the structure exhibits elements of Greek Revival styling in the full facade shed porch and the reeded pilasters between the front door and its adjacent three paneled sidelights. Originally built in 1830, the house contains original door locks and latches with pegged and numbered rafters in the attic.'' The house remained with the original owners family until 1967, when it was relocated by Dr. Mett B. Ausley. Hardwood flooring throughout, featuring 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, living room, music room, office/ study, dining room and a large storage room that could be converted into awesome laundry room. Large private screened in back porch.
