Love all the woodwork in this house. Each picture was better and better and then the built-in drawers! Yes! I really do prefer white paint in the bathroom. This house is a real jewel.

Just love those original, hand made, pine and plywood cabinets!

I was wondering if anyone would catch that wood change. Are you sure it is plywood Rosewater? In the South, we have some furniture from that era that is solid pine and it is usually heart pine. The grain usually shows brilliantly like this. I have a gorgeous freestanding linen press that looks just like these cabinets. I had to check the address twice just to make sure this house wasn’t in the Southeast.

D’know for sure Julles. Hard to say. Considering the house it’s in I just assumed it’s plywood. They’ve been making it since well back into the 19th century. The cabinets and doors look a lot like the ones my grandpa made for the apartments when he converted the second floor of my grandma’s house to rentals. They’re still there, unpainted, and solid as a rock. We the family always stay up there when we visit since they haven’t been rented since the 80’s when grandma passed away. My aunt lives there now, which is great. 🙂

I live in Merrill, and often pass this house. Glad to get a peek inside. Merrill has a lot of beautiful old homes from victorian,Craftsman, and more.

I love this place! It’s exactly what I am looking for in a retirement house… and yes, obviously a much loved home. I don’t think Wisconsin would be good for my Florida bones, but the house is lovely.

Love, love, love the kitchen! So rare to find one like this.

What a perfect little house, basically everything I could want!

Very pretty. I could easily live there, but I doubt my partner wants a 20 mile drive one way to work. 🙁 If only this were 20 miles south, we’d be buying it. We recently put in an offer that was accepted on a similar home, waiting for financing answer and inspection, before it’s a done deal. The Zillow website has previous listing photos, in case anyone is interested, nice photos, different than those here.

Here’s an attempt to link to the older Zillow Listing. The photos are different, there are more of them, not shown in the newer listing.
