Thanks Cora for sharing!
I’m amazed at how much the home has been updated through the years yet the wood work still remains unpainted and mostly intact!
Nice house! Love the built in cabinets in the kitchen and I had to chuckle at the thread spool used for a light chain! My Grandma did that on a light in her attic years ago, as a kid I thought it was odd but very clever!

This house could be sweet if all you did was roll-back the updates. Remove the Carpet, the 70s panelling, the dropped ceilings and liberate the front porch from whatever it’s been turned into and you have a great place.
It looks very clean (even the basement is clean!) and very 70’s. Most of the updates appear to be relatively superficial and therefore (hopefully) easily removed. Maybe original decor survives underneath. I’ll bet there are beautiful floors under all that carpet!
Those mint-colored kitchen cabinets are so charming and adorable…I would only store the yummiest things in them!
I’m smitten with this one. I agree about the mint colored cabinets and the first things to go of course are the dropped ceilings and carpet.
I would definitely plan the kitchen design around those beautiful cupboards. The color is so perfect!
I agree with everyone. Those drop ceilings, paneling and carpets need to go! The kitchen needs a rework, using the old cabinets as a starting point. They almost look like beadboard cabinet doors. And that cabinet in the dining room, love it!
This is a pattern home from JH Daverman and Son. Design No 124.

Cool! Thanks for the info and link. 🙂 Makes it easier for someone to restore the exterior if they feel inclined.
