An ode to this house: You loved me once. I am certain that you did. Now, on these cold and lonely nights, I will your spirits back and once again a warm light to glow in my window and roaring fires in my hearths. Happy voices to once again fill the house, fragrant cooking scents waft from my kitchen, and when night settles in, you dream sweet dreams in my large bedrooms. As long as I have strength to remain standing, you will dwell here and I will welcome and shelter you.

Not sure if this was an earlier house given Italianate details or built as one.

This is so adorable and clearly was well loved at one point!

A good price that allows for $$ to invest in the house. I like the attached barn it could be made into a great room. A bit North of Augusta but not too far North.

I love that they kept the old kitchen cabinets. I liked the description that they have on the house!

I have seen this house it is a cool place and I was thinking of making an offer on it, but realistically it needs probably 80,000- $100,000 to make it right. Needs all new electrical, all new furnace and heating, and all the rooms need to be redone , floors refinished, wallpaper stripped. It is a big job. The plus is it is in an excellent location and the exterior is in really good shape.

I would live in and restore as I go. Gas & electric, water and sewer, and structure first. Then spend summers on floors, walls. And oh, to hunt for furnishings in the north east!
