Step back in time in this wonderful Victorian-style home situated across from the lovely Mississippi University for Women campus on Southside. Delightful throughout!! High ceilings, lots of wide molding, spacious rooms and much updating. The Cypress exterior was freshly painted in 2011. Sq.ft. per tax records. House is sold in ''as is'' condition

This home appears to have 12′ ceilings which I love because they create the illusion of such grand, voluminous space. Hang a basketball goal in the front parlor and play in air conditioned bliss!

With good period-correct exterior colors, and a brilliant decor enhancing the original architectural elements, this home could be a knock-out.

Columbus is my hometown … Lived there until I graduated from MUW, shown in one of the photos. “The W” also accepts male students now. Columbus is just about half an hour from Mississippi State University and about 75 miles from The University of Alabama. Beautiful small town, home of Tennessee Williams, lots of antebellum homes available for tours during the Spring Pilgrimage and some open year round. Home to Columbus Air Force Base, a pilot training base.
