New York historic home with barn for Sale: This historic home on 3 acres built in 1916 exemplifies "old world" craftsmanship. With 5 full bedrooms, one and a half baths, and a large kitchen, it's perfect for a family. A formal dining room and large family room with wood burning fireplace is great for entertaining or just relaxing. Incredible woodwork is evident throughout. From beautiful hardwood floors to unique built-in cabinetry and a gorgeous solid wood staircase the quality is unparalleled. Heat is provided by a fuel oil fired boiler and cast iron radiators. Private water and septic are on site. Outside this home you will find a massive (over 6000 sq. ft.) old barn that's in really nice shape overall. Built in about 1930, they didn't spare the timbers! The post and beam construction is a site to behold, and although the roof on the backside needs work, the lines on the barn (and the house for that matter) are straight and true. Also included is a 24 x 40 pole barn/ machine shed that's perfect for extra storage. The property is located only about a mile from the Allegany/Limestone school and just minutes from town.Looking for a business/ investment? This would make an amazing Bed and Breakfast and/or wedding destination. Located less than a half hour from Ellicottville, Seneca Allegany Casino, St. Bonaventure University and the many fine restaurants and shopping centers in the area.Although this property could use some TLC and renovation, it could not be duplicated for more than twice the price. Sold as is and shown to qualified buyers only. Oil, gas and mineral rights are reserved.

I LOVE this house and Barn! I grew-up in the area and the way its nestled in a flat area surrounded by the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains is beautiful! It has always seemed such a peaceful setting with the straight flat road and surrounding farm land with the Hills all around. In the fall, with all the leaves changing it must be breathtaking from the front porch! Just think of all the different uses for that barn!
