I really love this one. It wouldn’t be too hard to make it shine again. It has some unique features.
The square footage listed seems low, though?

I will guess that “1300” ( sq ft ) is the ground floor.

It does have some nice original intact charms and features going for itself.

Too bad about the front door and some of the remodeling that was done, but, one could put those things ‘back’ without too much trouble.

Very likeable old Home…and no doubt, a cool Basement…and I expect some Attic Storage is likely not ‘finished’.

  4. I adore the interior woodwork and the stained glass. I’m a sucker for stained glass.

With a lot of elbow grease this house could be so charming and beautiful. The price is right for a Victorian in this condition. I would love to buy this home.

    Creepy basement anyone?

Are the ceiling lights original? They are very nice looking. It looks like elbow grease would go a long way in restoring this house. The ceiling tiles make me wonder if the original ceilings started to fall or maybe aren’t there at all.

I was wondering that also, it’s hard to tell with that ceiling tile. They appear to have originally been gas and rewired so my suspicion would be no. The scale seems off also, but that could just be from the photos. I could be completely off, but not sure it really matters because they are from the right time period (more or less). Great fence and woodwork.

Just about an hour away from where I live! Might have to check it out 🙂

Needs some TLC but is priced accordingly. A fair amount of the original details remain. I suspect that arch by the staircase may have once had an ornamental fan type piece of fretwork. The other archway looks more recent, perhaps from the 1920’s. Lot’s of potential here for a house priced at this level.

Yes, a ton of potential. Really a diamond in the rough. I wish I lived near there, I wouldn’t mind taking this one on. I think I would buy it just for the fence.

There are some very nice details remaining, especially for a house in this price range. That front fence is great, and I love the floral light fixture.
I just want to get some furniture polish and do that newel post and the banister, and clean and polish the stairs. Still though, that floor looks a little scary. Is that water damage or termites that made the front hall floor look so wonky? Add in the many damaged ceiling tiles, and I would definitely want to have a team of professionals look this one over, but great price nonetheless.

The biggest problem I see is the damage to the wood floors. The rest would be easy cept adding a nice front porch.
