You’d think the land would be worth the sales price.

The metal roof probably saved this house.
    I can work with this.
    I sorta love that bathtub.

I love the kitchen sink unit and the yellow and green bath. And as always, I have to give a shout-out to those linoleum floors. I know a lot of people don’t like vintage floor tile, and if the buyer is in that camp, I hope he/she will salvage it, rather than destroy. Linoleum, especially the “rugs,” can fetch a good price.

I have always heard that it is impossible to salvage old linoleum. I have tried with small pieces. Would you please share on how to do it? Is heat involved? I just know them become so brittle. Thanks in advance.

Love this simple yet beautiful home! Those holed-up fireplaces with the big holes in them, were they for oil heaters, wondering if they could all be converted back into fireplaces?

How were the walls made? Each room seems to have the same wood which looks like painted plaster lathe.

Have to love there isn’t wallpaper on every wall…not even one!

I wonder how much it would cost to bring this house back. It looks like there might be some water damage here and there… a ceiling spot in the corner above the fireplace, and the bathroom floor looks a little wonky, but most of the house looks like it just needs a paint and a polish. I am not a linoleum fan, so I am wondering what’s under there

Some major rehab work and this could be a very nice home. Lots of acreage would make it worth the while.
