Fun fact, this homes exterior was used in the movie Kindergarten Cop, it was
Joyce’s home. It doesn’t appear it was filmed inside the home though.

I’m not certain this is still on the market because I’ve been unable to find it listed anywhere but Zillow that’s linked to Postlets and there is no description.

There is much yummy about this house. And the views! Zounds!

I would love to see what is under the 1950s exterior siding…

Haha…as a child of the 1980s, I’d be reliving the Goonies movie if I ever bought this house. The movie was based in Astoria.

I’ve said the same about past Astoria homes! haha!

I keep meaning to attend one of the anniversary celebrations (this year was the 30th!) but it’d be so much easier if I lived there!

If you haven’t seen it in the news, they put big blue tarps on the goonies house and closed it off to visitors.

Gloomy gorgeousness. You can see why Hollywood has a thing for the place. It certainly is atmospheric. As a strong Leo, I’d last five minutes without the sun..

Astoria has an interesting collections of Victorians as well as a picturesque locale. (when the frequently wet and sometimes chilly weather cooperates) I’m surprised to see such fine fretwork spandrels in an otherwise fairly modest home. Nice!

Beautiful home + amazing view = win, win! This is another move in ready home, in need of serious kitchen backdating.

The outside of this house certainly does not do the inside justice, was not expecting such beautiful wood work.

Oh, I love this house. And the view. She needs some dressing up on the interior but wow.

I grew up visiting this home as a child. My Aunt lived there. The kitchen lost it’s charm with the remodel.
