    WOW. WOW. WOW.

Did the interior of this house surprise me.

    I love it!!!!!!!!!

But I would buy the place just for the ceramic tile kitchen floor!

I just love this house, the stained glass window in the bathroom is breath taking, love love the kitchen! The sink on the upper floor makes me wonder if this may have been a hospital at one time? or a funeral home?

I wasn’t expecting much seeing that unfortunate closed in porch and hoo boy was I pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t look like they changed a thing since the forties and even then…the woodwork, the light fixtures, every bit of the kitchen, the stained glass window in the bathroom. That sink on the third floor is interesting. It looks to me like a laundry sink but it’s hard to understand why they would have put one in such an inconvenient place. Anyway, I really love this one.

The interior has details that were common in the first decade of the 20th century. The kitchen looks intact and with a nice tile floor, from the period-a rare find. As for the stained glass in the bathroom, I’m thinking its probably an applique type film but if actual stained glass then fairly high end and probably a salvage item from an old mansion. Time has tread lightly in this house.

Excellent Home! I really hope that people see this and understand what effect they have on the quality of their older home when they “update” to the latest trends from big box home suppliers and DIY TV programs.
