Asphalt siding. Sold 3 years ago for $102,500, with the same siding I guess.

A house with potential provided someone is willing to invest the money and labor. I suppose it could be called a Queen Anne since there is no official “Modern Gothic” style which was a term used to describe houses in the late 1870’s and early 1880’s which had profuse Eastlake/Aesthetic Movement details inside and outside. English designer-critic Charles L. Eastlake himself was described as a “Gothicist” but the earlier Gothic Revival was by the 1870’s going away. By adding these new largely geometric based ornamental details, a “Modern Gothic” style was declared but it was popular for a few short years until the Queen Anne style borrowed these details and they became a Queen Anne mainstay until the early 1890’s. (when Colonial Revival design influences became popular) A lot of things need un-doing on this house to bring it back to period.
