this is a great old house but it was decimated by the state and federal governments when they placed MAJOR interstates right smack up against the house.

The only way to save this house is to give it away and make the give-away conditional on moving the house.

    This is a disgrace.

It’s sad, but the highways would have encroached on history no matter where they put them. Should we do without?

That is a lot of highway right at your door step. But then again, the rest of the suburban/urban sprawl around the house did just as much to take away from the property as the highway.
