State: New Jersey
New Jersey isn’t just turnpikes and shore towns — there’s a quiet countryside, too. In farm country and small historic towns, you’ll find stone houses from the 1700s, center-hall Colonials, and early farmhouses still sitting along winding roads. In older cities and suburbs, there are Queen Annes with turrets and trim, Dutch Colonials with flared eaves, and bungalows with original built-ins and wide porches. Some homes have been carefully restored, others still hold the marks of every decade they’ve seen. If you’re drawn to homes with variety, history, and a few surprises, you’ll find it in New Jersey.
Note: Listings include homes that are for sale, pending, sold, or off market. To view only what is currently for sale, use the search filter. It’s in the top menu on phones and on the right side of the page on desktop.
