1911 “Sunday night. Well I’ve had quite a day of it. Went to church this A.M. and Lucy invited me up to her house to dinner (?) Miss Goodspeed and her sister are there. She also invivted Mr & Mrs. Par(?) up there. Enjoyed it very much. Miss G & her sister are so nice. Mrs. G. Inquired all about you and said she would like so much to see you. She looks just about the same as ever. I was surprised that I should get the invitation as I never knew her at all. We walked up on the green this P.M. and got some cherries so that her sister might take them home with her. Just think at the Temperance meeting tonight they noted(?) to have a Town Picnic July 4th. How lovely. Ida”
