12857 North St, Dillsboro, IN 47018

Victorian home built in the 1800's located in the Downtown/Commercial District. Zoned C3 allowing any uses permitted under C1 zoning. Retail/restaurant/office and more must occupy the ground level, upstairs can be residential. The wood work inside and out is nothing short of amazing. The exterior woodwork is restorable and many pieces missing outside have been put inside for safe keeping. I admit that the stairwell is the prettiest I have ever seen. New electrical service added and wire pulled through most of the home. Most all debris drop ceilings and plaster has been removed. Town of Dillsboro facade grant will accept applications November 2025. The Town will match dollar for dollar up to $10,000 on $20,000 of repairs. A Stellar grant has been awarded to the Town providing funds for streetscape projects. Dillsboro will get new sidewalks, street lights and more in front of this property. Exercise caution when showing. If entering the attic or basement there are only ladders.
