Love it! Nice floors. Is that a sits bathtub next to the regular bathtub?
That is definitely a sitz bath. I am loving the curvy wall in the hallway, and as I usually do, wish there were more pictures.

Cool place. I definitely would love to see more pictures and explore a little…..

During the period from the final years of the 1890’s to the eve of World War I, Classical and Colonial Revival homes were immensely popular especially in Southern States including Texas. Most likely, these latter-day Greek Revival inspired homes evoked a sense of nostalgia as the Antebellum originals had been local symbols of wealth and prosperity for older generations. But despite the architecturally similar forms, these new versions were often equipped with electricity and indoor plumbing as well as central heat and other household amenities available in the early 20th century. This house is a nice example of the revival style.
Yoakum is an agricultural community of about 5,888 within a triangular area bounded by San Antonio, Houston, and Victoria to the south.
And home to Circle Y Saddlery for those horse crazy readers out there!
I love this home and I want to trim up the foliage so we can see her lovely exterior!
Thanks for that info. I still have my circle Y saddle.

I’ve got family in Yoakum and surrounding towns. My dad lived there until I moved him to AZ end of 2013, and he’s buried beside his mother, father, and brother there at St Joseph.
It’s a tiiiiiiny town.
Having said that, if they’d come down on the price I’d take it 😊 The library and kitchen are ticking the “ooo nice!” boxes on my checklist!
