Known as the Talbot Home, built by Dr. John & Mrs. Alice (Daly) Talbot in 1847 has been listed in the library of congress. With over $300K in restoration that left so much of the original with additions that allow for comfortable 21st century living, including new roof & balcony (2006); all new plumbing & electric; addition of 1st floor bathroom w/tile & marble sink; addition of chef's kitchen w/$30K La Cornue range, 2 walk-in pantries, walk-in cooler, custom cabinetry, granite counter tops, & wood-burning hearth fireplace; installation of 14 zone propane hydronic floor heating & Polaris Industrial hot water heater. Newly poured floor in basement w/drainage system. Exterior tuck pointed, & kitchen addition added using antique bricks original to the property.
