This house is worth every dollar of the asking price. I didn’t see one thing I would change. The only thing I don’t care for is all the wire mold they used to bring in the new electrical.

A special THANK YOU to Kelly for her assistance today.

The entry/stair hall is amazing. It sets the tone for the rest of the house and for the most part, does not disappoint! Many thanks to the owners who kept so many of the original details intact!

Wow! I don’t usually care for these aughties Colonial revivals but this one is amazing. The staircase and millwork are in fantastic condition. Nice bonus, that built in federal breakfront. Some of the light fixtures look original. Oh, and the brick house katty-corner (seen in 5th pic) looks amazing too.

It is for sale by owner for $139,000 and appears to be quite a bargain. The only reason I haven’t jumped on it is there is literally no back yard. The next house is quite close. And it is actually stucco and not brick, but I have no problem with that.

To clarify MansardLover is talking a home across the street, not the posted home (just wanted to clarify incase someone thought it was the posted home.) 🙂

This home is stunning. I was actually in an accident with my aunt when I was younger and hit the retaining wall as a result. St. Joseph is full of many old homes.

It was a staircase to sigh for till I saw the landing when it became a staircase to cry for… Plus that cool sink. Oh boy!

    That staircase!

Gorgeous sinks here! Plus that staircase.

Not sure about the kitchen, seems block-y. Might be an awkward space to work with, but I’d first put the sink in front of a window.
Some paint choices would need to go.

Lots of space for my books!
