That closet is awe inspiring. I’d need to buy more shoes to justify it.

I thought it would make a perfect craft room!

My perfect era and this one does not disappoint. The fireplaces are fine examples from this era (though one is extremely sooty). Can soot like that be cleaned or is it just to messy to undertake? The previous owner of my house burned a fire with the flu closed and I tried removing the soot with a soot sponge but it was a nightmare and I resorted to re painting. Water just turned it to staining “mud”.

Use muratic acid and a scrub brush, works great.

Jerry, I buy this acid in 55 ga drums for my job. How does a house owner come by this?

Home Depot or ACE hardware by the quart or gallon. Limeaway might be a better bet in this class. Muriatic Acid is dilute Hydrochloric acid, I believe. It would be serious overkill.

This house is very SoCal looking–I was surprised to see it’s in OK. I love it!

It’s “All About Eaves”. The exterior has great lines, and the interior has great possibilities.

I love this house, what a presense from the street. It is unfortunate that somehow part of its lot was lost to the neighbors for their garage. Painful. I would have to imagine that at one time that wall extended all the way around the back of the property. The drive would have circled around the back of the house. Woodwork and fireplaces are stellar and I like the kitchen a lot. The elevator addition is rarely a good thing but with effort can hopefully be removed and patch the holes. Of course at this price you have to expect some issues. Still it is a great old house.
