Didn’t find a build date for this. I’m thinking 1870’s to 1880’s based on the exterior, staircase and other details.

Great House! I wonder if the main roof is a later addition? It seems as though it is not quite consistent with the traditional multi-gable design. Maybe some of our in house experts would know.

There is a house on the same street that seems to have the same type of roof. The front doesn’t have the multi gables though.

House is gorgeous inside and out.

I’m also curious about the roof, David Sweet. Lovely home.

That spiral staircase. Wow. I’m a fan of pocket doors and fireplaces and those windows and light fixtures couldn’t be more perfect than this. Love that food pantry and the brick oven.

I love what appears to be a pipe radiator in the one bedroom.

These Nova Scotia houses often seem to be ‘plainer’ or more traditional than American houses to my eye (more English in model).

    1885 Italianate.

This is a warm and pretty house. I noticed the roof too.
