I’m in love with the staircase landing hall on the 2nd floor…it’s just, so dramatic, sweeping, romantic, and airy. Picture perfect. Nicely executed design.

Very fine older home. I could definitely see myself living there. But I’ve
never seen black sinks, toilets, etc before!

The years between 1900 and 1910 were especially fertile for Classical Revival homes like this. Although some modern changes are evident many of the original features remain.

I work in the plumbing business. Trust me when I say this, you can get basically anything in any color. LOL.

Whats the probability of tornadoes in this area?

Probability for McAlester area is low compared to the towns to the north and west. I’ve lived in Oklahoma my entire life. In 45 years, I’ve never seen a funnel myself and never been in a tornado. I’ve gone to the cellar alot. And yes, I am a redneck that has stood outside and watched a few times. LOL McAlester is in south east OK, near Ouachita and Kiamichi mountains, not near as flat as north and west. Tornadoes seem to like the flat part of OK more. All the more reason that house is still standing after 100+ years.
