My journey into historic preservation began in the late 1980s when I was an advocate for the preservation and reuse of historic theaters in Los Angeles. Although the money may never be there for me, I would love to own an old theater where I can produce plays. My dream theater also includes an apartment and retail space so I can live on the premises and have a rental income! I am looking to move to an affordable city with a great house, and love exploring America - and beyond - on Old House Dreams. My current favorite style is mid-century modern - although there is not an Italianate house out there that doesn't make me pine.
