We got to go inside the cupola!

  2. I’ve been drooling over this house for months on Zillow! It keeps being taken off the market and then coming back, and the price keeps dropping! If only I was in a position to move right now. ~cries~

There’s a lovely park right next door to it, and a beautiful Romanesque building across the street which I think is a public library. Such a perfect location!

It’s official! There will be a FB page setup to track the progress of bringing this wonderful house back to its rightful beauty. There will be a flurry of activity in the next couple of weeks, plumbing is being repaired, a new roof and the floors being refinished. I will post the link for anyone who is interested in following the progress of this project. The house is very stable, as a whole but has immediate needs to be tended to before the aesthetics can be done. Thanks to Old House Dreams we found this wonderful place!
