Quite a beautiful home! I would replace the one pair of missing brackets on the front of the carriage house and give the place a period correct color scheme. Other than that it looks good to go!

  3. Love this place! Really nicely done!! I agree about the brackets Michael, but I might resist a total period color scheme. Maybe just break it up w/ a nice putty grey on the siding and warm white trim (or something subtle). But I’m a Greek Revival fan, not in love w/ Victorian color overdosing : ) !

I agree with you on changing the color. Colors used on an 1850 Italianate would have been different than an 1890’s Queen Ann. I’m just not a fan of all white, especially on a superb house such as this has great details and they hide in all the white paint. I like your thoughts on the paint scheme!

Is that a root cellar of some sort in the final picture? Interesting feature whatever it may be. Neat house. I like it.

This is a beautifully loved house. I love the entry door, the windows and the trim above some of the windows and pocket doors.

Just beautiful! I love curved walls! Just wish they had shown more of the green bathroom with the 2 sinks, looks to be a tasteful reno in there. Unless there are mechanicals of some sort in that closet, I would have to remove those louvered doors on the bottom.

  9. Loved the kitty-cornered FP shown in photo #11 or thereabouts….
