The street view gives you a better idea as to how beautiful this house really is! A little paint, wallpaper and floor refinishing and you would be set!

  2. Right you are about the street view giving a good idea of how beautifully this house sets on its lot, and in a nice residential neighborhood.

There is something special about a brick house, especially one with shutters. Farrow & Ball has a rich, vibrant teal called “Vardo” that would be smart on those shutters and/or front door.

True, the house needs sprucing up though it has obviously been loved and well-cared for through the years. Such a very genteel, charming, and honest house with an enchanting yard no doubt with a secret garden.

A corner lot, however, tends to be a busy distraction.

Golly I would love this. Of course, in NOLA it would be five times that price, if not more.

This is a very pretty house, looks like nice area too. Someone will get lucky.

Such a nice mature garden with the crape myrtles; and a lovely side Florida room, Carolina room, or whatever they call an enclosed porch. Kind of a quintessential American dream house.

Doesn’t look like this house needs much aside from paint and probably floor refinishing once you pull up the carpet. An excellent price for a nice house!

This part of Petersburg is a very old development started in the 1920’s completed in the 1960’s or so. A long time friend moved to this neighborhood in 2003 and has owned two different homes both were well built in the 1930’s. Over that time I visited him and we walked and drove all over the area, most homes are well kept and beautifully landscaped.
