Landmark historic Dargie-Dill victorian in the heart of Annapolis Royal. Built in 1889 with great set back and spread over 3 levels boasting 4 new baths and 5 bedrooms. Levels 2 and 3 were completely redone with a modernized floor plan that has a Parisian atelier feel. The first level makes for a great family/entertaining space with all main rooms oversized and full of classic Victorian features, original tin ceilings, pocket doors, and fine unpainted oak detail, two fireplaces with wood inserts, and a modern kitchen with authentic appeal. Plumbing, electrical (new 200 amp panel), and insulation updates have been done while maintaining the original features and integrity. A dramatic veranda adorns the front of the home, the garden plants were selected by one of Canada's garden experts. The original carriage house adorns one side of the driveway, and a double lot allows privacy and outside entertaining space. Historic and hip, warm and welcoming, efficient and functional, surrounded by some of Atlantic Canada's finest historic homes.

OK, I’m in love… again. Beautiful house, and in what looks like a fairly nice area with similar houses. That garage building looks like it could even be a 3 car, which would sell my husband, and I wonder what the space upstairs looks like? Just storage, probably, but might be useable as a studio. Looks like the neighbor’s garage is built right up against this property’s garage.

So cute, but I would smash my head each time I used the toilet upstairs!
