    It’s cup runneth over!
    Yes the wood work is painted; but it’s all still there.
    Yes it needs exterior restoration, but it’s all still there.
    Yes there have been some interior alterations; but they are early, and quality.
    It will take some work; but WORTH IT.

    As the sign on the house indicates, it was built for Joseph M. Knowles who was co-owner with his cousins, Thomas and John Knowles, of one of New Bedford’s most successful whaling businesses. http://nbpreservationsociety.org/Kemptons-Corner_print.pdf
