There are some nice Arts & Crafts details in this house but some seem a bit homemade. The traditional craftsman philosophy behind the Arts & Crafts movement encouraged homeowners to create artworks themselves if they had the talents. The original open front porch has been enclosed which extends the seasonal length when it can be used.

Love just about everything about this house. It has such a neat, tidy look. I don’t usually like enclosed porches but this one was done very nicely. The kitchen cabinets are awesome even with the cheapo countertops.

A really charming house. I love that they saved the original cabinets in the kitchen. They look great!

The original kitchen cabinets do look great! Looks like someone added a valance with a curvy profile over the sink at some point… probably around 1960 (give or take). I’d do away with that if this were my kitchen, but the rest of the cabinetry is a rare treat. In a house filled with interesting details, these cabinets really stand out.

I always prefer the craftsman style with an original open porch, but this one is not bad.
