1988 Greek Revival Wannabe in beautiful countryside

I’d buy this just for the pleasure of going in & out those luscious doors. The rest of the place has such attractive bones; I’d LOVE to fix it all up & stay. Excellent job of converting it to a residence without totally losing its church history or turning it into a contemporary open-plan cookie cutter church transmogriphication.

The entry vestibule (and doors) are clearly Gothic Revival, but the rest of the building’s exterior is pure Greek Revival. The entry was likely an early addition to the structure. I would like to have seen what the building’s original windows looked like! The triangular grille (or blind window) in the front gable is really beautiful.

I totally read “church in Fair Heaven” instead of Fair Haven 😀
