      3-10 is kind of a big grey area. I do not see how the house needs lots of work, unless it is plumbing or other such as mechanical, I would love to simply move in and live with it as is-think about the house for a while, and hope they leave the green clock in the kitchen.

    This is an A.J. Davis or A.J. Downing design, (Both are credited in various architectural histories,) published in one of A.J. Downing’s books. I haven’t bothered to identify the book or plan number, but it’s a great design. It resembles the cottage Davis/Downing designed for Mathew Vassar’s estate in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
