The house looks a bit older than 1914 but the door hinges seen in one of the photos were still being used in the teens. Some of the exterior details appear to be reminiscent of William Radford’s plan book designs but I’m far from being a Radford design expert. I like the Gambrel roofed barn (Gambrel and “barn roofs” are pretty much interchangeable terms) but it looks like it needs a little TLC. The 1.87 acre lot must be much smaller than the original farm acreage size.

Wonderful barns and scenery! The kitchen is quite odd. I can’t really wrap my brain around the “floating microwave.”

Love the barn! The curved gothic shape of the roof is something a bit more difficult to do. It would be nice to see it restored as much as the house, in my opinion.
