No build date on this one, I’m not going to guess. But…I am really digging that carpet. Maybe we could make rugs from it? Can you do that with old carpet?

Of course, the kitchen is amazing! Future owner, please don’t do anything but if you do, donate it to someone that will reuse it.

That carpet is a little over whelming as one huge piece. You can cut it up into sections and find a place that does carpet binding, they can back it and seam the edges. I had that done with some carpet that was taken out of my grandparents home when they decided to replace it.

The Chambers cooktop is their first cooktop: Model MT-42B and the oven is an In-A-Wall oven also from Chambers. These were from the 50’s. There is a web site: http://www.chamberstoves.net with more info but no specific date…just in the 50’s. I’m guessing 1957 because of the clothing on the model in the ad.

I was kind like, ho-hum, why did Kelly post this . . . until I got to the kitchen! Wow! Oh please let someone who loves it buy this house. The bathroom ain’t bad either, with the full suite of blue fittings!

It must be great kitchen week and this one doesn’t disappoint! I hope the new owners keep it as it is!

The flooring is a bit much, but the rest is really great. I’d have to do something to tone down the yellow cast in the kitchen, I like the yellow tile, but with all the wood and the floor also yellow, it’s too much for me.

Something about the exterior of this home had me thinking In the Heat of the Night, good ‘ole Sparta!
